It’s been really great having Abby as my English tutor. Having her mark and help me with my personal statement has been really useful, as she was able to help me with all aspects (grammar, structure and diction). She was able to point out some mistakes I hadn’t noticed myself, like my wrong use of the semicolon.

Not only is she organised, she also teaches patiently and articulates everything clearly. It was really easy to talk to her about the mistakes I made in my essay, as she was never condescending and made it enjoyable for me to learn from my mistakes. For example, when I couldn’t express myself in conveying a point, she helped me point out what was wrong with the sentence and encouraged me to think of a solution independently.
