中高階英文學習

I’ve been a member of this amazing community for 10 months.
I can say that what I’ve learned during these 10 months is more than the total of what I’ve learned in the past 4 years.
EEA is an English community that is suitable for all English learners with different needs. Whether you are a company employee, a high school student, a person preparing to work abroad, or a housewife, you can get improvement here.
I’m a mom of a 4th grader. After graduating from university, I didn’t have much opportunity to use English. When my son began attending an international school 5 years ago, I found that even though I’d been learning English for over 15 years, I couldn’t fully understand a picture book for kindergarteners; I couldn’t express my ideas freely and precisely when I talked with my son’s teachers.
I’d tried many ways to improve my English: attending local English classes based on English news, joining a book club, participating in an English-speaking club. I learned and forgot, making very little improvement.
I finally decided to join EEA.
Here, I can ask every question I come across, learn from other members, practice reading, listening, writing and speaking by doing Weekly Challenges. This self-driven learning community can help you obtain knowledge according to your needs.
EEA brings English to my life. It is unlike any other English courses. Whenever I log in, I’m exploring an entire English world.
I feel like I’m learning abroad without leaving home. EEA provides me a variety of learning resources. I have rebuilt my foundation of sounds, words, and rules. I have learned how to build vocabulary, how to improve vocabulary flashcards, and how to stop relying on the dictionary when reading.
I got to know how to write my own hero’s journey (a story of growth) in an attractive way with a wonderful structure. I have also joined live discussions of many interesting topics, like “The Art of Surviving/Thriving Between Cultures”, “Intelligent Conversation”, “Glass Beads Game”, etc. It’s not only about English learning, but it’s also about language and culture.
Moreover, EEA is home to lots of amazing members working in many different types of jobs or studying many different disciplines.
The discussions with other members have expanded my perspective and English expression. I enjoy interactions here and love to learn from the others.
The most important thing you need to know about EEA is that we have the best English coach, Abby.
She learned English as an ESL student and became a standout English linguist. She can identify the difficulties we suffer, teach us effective ways of improving based on her own experience of learning English, and explain what confuses us in a very easy to understand way.
She gives me confidence and makes me believe in my ability to survive in an English-speaking environment.
If you are interested in learning English, you should definitely not miss this special community.
