The practice improves my level of thinking a lot

I want to learn more ways to study a language. Besides English, I am also learning Japanese. Abby has taught me a lot of skills to overcome my learning barriers, for instance, how to analyze complex sentences when I can’t understand them and how to find the clues in a book to figure out/understand the context.

Why can I insist on studying English for so long a period. The reason is that I really enjoy discussing many topics with Abby (for example: Why do you need to earn money? Why do you want to learn English?) It’s hard for me to specifically think about the true reasons, but I have to say that the questions are interesting. They help both me and my children, and I feel so lucky that I can answer them in English.

It’s difficult, and even painful, to begin exploring something new in a specific way, whether it’s a skill or a topic. But I also find if I could do it, I would become aware of what I really want. Then I can become more confident of what I do, and I will become more passionate, and I will have clearer ways to invest my effort. The practice improves my level of thinking a lot.
