It has been a really great experience to join English Ever After.
Believe me, we not only learn English here, but also explore new journeys in life.
I have developed the growth mindset by doing the following:
1) Weekly challenges
there are lots of new topics to expand my horizons. Based on these new topics, we work on reading, listening, writing and speaking.
Take our topic, “Nostalgia”, as an example, the word was new to me from the reading challenge. Abby provides her opinions, addresses our uncertainties, and replies to all our questions individually all the time.
We can keep asking further questions or do some revisions and investigations of our own. It feels really great to get answers from Abby and to understand more about our reading topic.
We always transcribe video on listening challenges. This helps me a lot to accumulate confidence gradually.
For the writing challenge, we described something that makes us feel nostalgic. Then, in the speaking challenge, we described a moment when we shared the same feeling of nostalgia with someone.
After the whole learning process, we won’t forget “Nostalgia” anymore. Indeed, I can recognize this word when I read the novel, Dear John later on. Isn’t it amazing?
2) Discussions in the EEA community
i. All kinds of question can be freely discussed here. For example, jobs, math, race, kids, meditation, personality, novel, travel and life.
ii. I can live some experiences that I have never been through. It’s a gift for the best version of you to thrive in life.
iii. We also make plans to track our own goals individually.
3) Solution request
Abby always guides us to find the answers and helps us in a heartfelt way. Come to build your skills by asking questions and clear all of your doubts in English learning.You will see how the brilliant teacher, Abby, guides you to the right path.
4) Many resources
we review our basic English knowledge with the recordings that Abby has prepared. We can enhance our English ability and learn something new from these videos at the same time.
We are all free to decide how much time we would like to dedicate to EEA. There’s no pressure; you can just learn in your way and at your own speed.
I’m not able to tell you every detail that I have learnt from here because you have to experience it by yourself.
