Reading “The Pomegranate” with Abby
In this live session, we discussed Eavan Boland’s poem, “The Pomegranate”. You can hear my reading of the poem here on Youtube.

So often in our lives, we come across words that seem to be so simple and easy to understand, yet somehow, when we put them together, the meaning becomes hard to grasp! is a place where you can get answers to the burning questions you have about the English language. We began the workshop by covering the poet’s background, then went on to discuss the story of Persephone from Greek mythology, and finally, we read the poem line by line in order to understand what it really means.
